The Company provides professional tax preparation, bookkeeping, and payroll services. These services are provided based on the information provided by you, the Client.

  • No Audit: Our engagement does not include audit, examination, or other forms of verification of your financial records. We will not verify the information you provide for accuracy or completeness.
  • Reliance on Data: We will rely on your representations. You are responsible for the accuracy of all financial data and documents provided to us.
3. Professional Relationship

Use of this website or submission of an inquiry form does not constitute an accountant-client relationship. Such a relationship is only established once you have signed a specific Letter of Engagement and paid the required initial deposit or fee.

4. Client Responsibilities

For us to provide effective services, you agree to:

  • Provide all necessary financial records, receipts, and documents in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that you have the legal right to share the data provided.
  • Review all tax returns, financial statements, and payroll reports before they are submitted to the IRS or other agencies. The ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of a tax return rests with the taxpayer.
5. Fees and Payment

Fees for services are outlined in your individual Engagement Letter.

  • Late Fees: Payments not received within thirty (30) days of the invoice date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month.
  • Suspension of Service: For payroll services specifically, we reserve the right to suspend processing if fees are unpaid or if payroll funding is not secured 48 hours prior to the pay date.
6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Jay Tax Advisors] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or penalties incurred due to late or inaccurate filing, unless caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific service in question during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

7. Circular 230 Disclosure

In accordance with IRS requirements, any tax advice contained in this website or in our communications is not intended or written to be used, and cannot be used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties under the Internal Revenue Code.
